"RB" says it all, unfortunately.

TED (who isn't really evil, he's a nice Mr Clark) 'phoned me a few
minutes ago. Mrs Cat had bone cancer in her lower jaw. We decided that
he shouldn't allow her to wake up from the anaesthetic she had been
given :-(

Comforting purrs on the way for you and lighting a candle for Mrs. Cat's
journey to the Bridge.

Oh, I am so sorry for your loss. Purrs for Mrs Cat on her journey to
The Bridge, and healing purrs for you and all who loved her.

Marie

your new thread gets lost if you post it behind another one about another
subject. Do you know how to post a new thread?
Go to the newsgroup to read and click on "new post"
You can then start another thread of your own.

If it helps at all I had to make a similar decision. My Pearl whippet had
a spleen tumour which was operated on, her spleen was removed. She looked
so awful after the surgery when I went to bring her home that I questioned
whether I should have agreed to it.
A few months later she broke her leg when getting up out of bed, the cancer
had returned in her bones.
I think you made the right choice for Mrs Cat.

Weird! Just another vagary of the Internet, I guess - like
long strings of responses to an initial post that never
appears on my screen!

Same here. And it's happened before with another thread too.
