Guitar Hero (WAS: [OT] I'M SO PSYCHED!!!!!)
Lori (and any other scrabble lovers)
have you found this website yet: www.isc.ro it's a live scrabble internet club. I play there once in a while with a friend. It's a safe link The other game I love to play is Upwords, via MSN Messenger, but that one costs $20 a year. You can play Scrabble without paying, tho I like to send them some money every so often. Sara "CatNipped" wrote in message ... "jmcquown" wrote in message ... CatNipped wrote: I've told you all about my son who is into modifying game stations (PS2, PSP, XBox, etc.) e). Well, in all his "spare time", he started noodling around with "Guitar Hero" (I didn't even know such a game existed until he told me, but apparently it's the hottest thing on the gaming market right now). On 'Ellen' this morning she had on two 6 year old boys. One of them saved his best friends' life by doing the Heimlich when his friend got a Cheeze-It stuck in his throat. She gave them each an X-box 360 with Guitar Hero II. So that's the 2nd time in two days I've heard of this Jill --not a gamer, unless you count board games Nope, I'm a board gamer too (mostly just Scrabble) and I had never heard of it before - my younger co-workers have all heard of it though. I'll have to wait until the weekend to play - I can get away with posting from work because it looks the same as business email, but I think they would draw the line at me playing games! ; Hugs, CatNipped |

BTW Monique, I haven't been able to read the group all that much lately so I may have missed an update - how is Oscar doing? Did she see the oncologist? Thanks for asking. I know what you mean; I can't keep up with the traffic here. Oscar is doing well. She's on chemo and injected steroids. Just now (15 minutes ago) they drew blood to check her white blood cell count; we'll find out tomorrow whether the chemo dosage needs to be adjusted. We're actually seeing a vet internal medicine specialist, not an oncologist. They're slightly less specialized, but it's a 5 minute drive instead of a couple of hours, and internal med vets deal with a lot of cancer patients. I'm thinking we caught this thing very early; in the exploratory surgery the vet did not find any thickening of the intestines, and the vet today said she still could not feel any lumps. Oscar's mom *grin* has been up and down, and hasn't been sleeping much or well. I finally picked up a prescription for a sleep aid this week, and it's been a godsend so far. I feel much better. -- monique, who spoils Oscar unmercifully pictures: http://www.bounceswoosh.org/rpca |
