"Native" (was: OT Need advice on cake.)

Oh, and I think anyone born here should go through the same immigration process (including the multi-year waiting line) as immigrants. That'll either have the effect of reforming the process or making our citizenry a little smarter. |

We have always preferred American Indian. Oh, and I think anyone born here should go through the same immigration process (including the multi-year waiting line) as immigrants. I don't see how that makes them more "native" than anyone else born here. All the American Indians I've ever known have disliked it just as much as y'all do - for precisely the reason cited above. They prefer "American Indian" or, preferably, their nation (i.e., first choice would be "Navajo" and second choice "American Indian," or even just "Indian"). snip Baird -- Instead, our congressmen talk to and about Rush Limbaugh like Old Bolsheviks praising Comrade Stalin at their show trials. I'm looking for guesses as to how much Baileys I should put in the cake and in the frosting? Just be aware that the stuff is full of sugar as well. You may want to use a dash of irish whiskey instead of Bailey's in the cake so you don't overload on sugar (unless of course you like that sort of thing). With the frosting, I'd say just mix more icing sugar into the baileys until its stiff enought spread :-) I just had a quick google of "Bailey's cake" - that should give you an idea. Irish cream is, IIRC, Irish whiskey, evaporated milk, sugar, vanilla & chocolate flavouring if that helps. BTW, has anyone else seen the Dave Allen Show? It was a great show from a couple decades back. Google around and you can find some old clips from it. The late Dave was a great Irish teller-of-gags. |

While doing studies for Alzheimers, they found that Cherokee Indians are almost immune to Alzheimers. And the immunity seems to directly follow their blood percentage. Since my two oldest grandsons have a lot of Cherokee blood, its nice to have something to offset the high diabetes risk. Other grandmother was Irish, and grandfather nearly full blood Cherokee. Jo |
