False alarm - Possible Tabitha sighting!

Stay inda nayburrhood, Tabitha...dey's tryin to find yu! Wee'ze bin purrrrrrrrrrin owr harts owt, Amelia, an ar hopin reeel hard dat Tabitha walks rite into da trap an can bee back in her TrooHome agin. Mietze wiff effurywun Well, it looks like we got our hopes up prematurely. This morning when Paw checked the trap in the garage there was a fluffy black longhair kitty with golden eyes in it. He brought the kitty inside and he and Meowmie let the kitty out of the cage in the big bathroom. It's a pretty kitty, but it doesn't have any lumps in it's fur. Tabitha is very prone to mats. But most importantly, this kitty doesn't have a tail! Tabitha has a beautiful long fluffy tail - that's why we call her fluffybutt. So this black kitty, who we have to assume is the kitty we've received phone calls about, isn't Tabitha. Meowmie is taking this kitty to vet for a checkup, then to the animal shelter. She's also placing a "found cat" ad in the newspaper and calling the other vet in town to report having found this black kitty. So please keep up the purrs for Tabitha Fluffybutt to find her way home to us. Amelia You didn't think of letting the kitty go. It probably knows it's way home. -- Peace, Fred (Remove FFFf from my email address to reply by email). |

it's way home. It's been covering a fair amount of territory, and is new to the area. Odds are that it's a stray or a lost cat that has just been working it's way west. We've been looking pretty intensely, and people have been seeing our flyers everywhere for a few weeks, and this kitty hasn't been seen until just the last few days. So no, I have to assume it's most likely lost. |
