Buffy Loves being Brushed
"Rusty" wrote in message ... When I was looking for a cat to adopt, I held a cat whose cage was above Rust's. It trembled and shed all over me. I wasn't impressed. Then I saw Rusty sleeping under his overturned litter box in the cage. I got to hold him and he didn't tremble or shed. And the rest, as they say, was history. Had Rusty for 15 years. Winnie And still miss him like mad, no doubt. Shelter animals are often not impressive as they've usually been lost or dumped or given up for no reason that they can understand. If Boyfie had ended up in a shelter I dread to think how he would have coped. Well, he wouldn't have. Rusty obviously had more moral fibre than my lad ;-) and he was lucky that you got him and spent many happy years together. |
