Default Pet Loss Hotline at WSU

I was looking at the WSU med school website for something connected
with my job when I saw that they have a pet loss hotline, staffed by
volunteers. We at rcpa and rcpc have each other but it is really nice
to see this concern. They have a link to the story of the Rainbow
Bridge there. It warmed my cold heart just seeing their concern.

It's always good to see universities reaching out to communities. I did my
share of years in academia, and saw a good deal of town-gown tension

Is this wonderful program in Washington State?
Washington State University?
Do you have a link for it?
That IS very heartwarming and I'd love to get involved, somehow.

It is at Washington State University vet school. I didn't get the link
but it would be easy enough to find. I think they rely completely on
student voluneers. But I almost sent them a "you guys are wonderful"
email and I wish I had.

Well, I guess you can send them that e-mail as Steve gave me the link to
their site.
It's very informative and sad as well.
Thanks Steve.

Actually, that was a mistake on my part. I looked up the URL, stuck it
in a reply, and then meant to save it 'til later when I finished
dinner and looked at the site. Instead of clicking 'send later' I hit
the 'send now' button. Anyhow, now that I've eaten and had some
coffee, I went back and looked at the site. Looks pretty good.
