Last minute preparations for Meowy and Mosey's wedwink

[In the wee hours of the morning the full moon is shining as the incoming
waves lap upon the beach. The eastern horizon starts to lighten, turning
the black sand beach from a shiny black to a fuzzy black. The sound of
the surf breaking on the beach is supplemented by the sound of kitties
snoring, as their are dozens of cats curled up sleeping on the
comfortable cushions in place for the wedwink.

As the sun finally appears, the cats start to wake up. The smell of
breakfast cokking helps rouse the sleeping kitties as Amelia prepares
bacon, chicken, and a bunch of other yummy kitty breakfast foods. The
younger kitties wake faster the more mature cats and are soon running and
leaping all over the beach. Some of the older kitties grumble and hiss at
the noisy kits, since some of the older cats overindulged in nip the
night before.

By mid-morning everyone is awake and up and about. Sammy and Ranger get
busy rearranging the cushions and raking the sand to make the scene look
pristine.

Jocko the diving cat, having arrived the day before, is looking longingly
at the waves. He thinks "Maybe tomorrow...". A noise in the distance
causes Jocko to look around. He finally identifies the source - atop the
volcanoe on the opposite end of the island a huge shiny sphere has
appeared. Other cats notice Jocko staring into the distance and join him
in watching as the sphere slowly descends the slope. As the sphere
reaches the bottom it disappears into trees. All of the assembled cats
discuss what the sphere could have been. A few minutes later the cats
hear the sound of something approaching through the trees and bushes.
Finally, Aed emerges from the trees leading a collection of Second World
cats.

Aed: "Sammy, Ranger, it's good to see you again! A bunch of us decided to
come, so we used a transportation we haven't used in ages. I hope we
didn't startle anyone."

Amelia: "Welcome, all of you. We haven't seen you in a while. Some time
I'd like to talk to you about your transportation system".

[Big Mama appears from the direction of the village]
Miss Amelia, I believe it is time to get ready. We have a hut set aside
for you to prepare in.

Before Mosey leaves to port back home to get a few things he
forgot, he warmly welomes his guests n says he will be back soon, with
Pooky Kat, who is getting the things he forgot together . Off Mosey
goes BE BACK SOON....he yells

Mosey says, I am back with the winking collars, which he gives to BobQat
and Mimzy on shiny blue and yellow satin pillows. The blue and yellow one
is for MeOwy. I also brought along an extra Hawaiian shirt, and a few other
things, and a surprise for MeOwy when we go to the Moon for our honeymoon
and thank you Booker for making the arrangements for the hotel .
There is so much fun stuff to do on the Moon, I have been there before. yeUP
It is so nice to see you Aed and Jocko too...smiles It's nice to see every
kitty here, thank you for coming to our winking.

Booker tries to get Chappy to settle down and explainz to him wat he needz
to do wif da trayne, an dat he SHUD NOT STEP ON IT. Den Booker sitz down
to du sum last minute gruuming so all hiz furz ar in da rite places.
Snowflake sitz off to one side watchin da proceedings, hur fur shiny blak
and he one wite whisker betrayin hur prezence. She is surrounded by free
bootifuly rapped pakages, giftz to da bride an grum frum ar houze.

Mosey is going between human speak to Qat speak ...he has had a little
nip, but not too much.

Sammy: I guess da caterers is getting set up, an I know da villagers iz
getting a bunch of native fudz ready too. Dis is gonna be great!

[A 'porter twinkles, and a petite Persian girl-cat
wearing a pale-yellow sundress, and a floppy linen
hat steps out. She turns, and realizes she is
alone in the porter.]

"Oh my toes" she meows. "I iz alone, and mine
Tiger iz not wif me!"

She takes a deep breath, and says to herself:
"Ummm, well, girl, you will haff to get used to
it, so smile and enjoy the company ov yur
friends..."

Mosey gibz Mme. Anaïs uh big hug fur kumfurt.

She smiles, and waves at Sammy: "Hihi, Sammy! DIs
iz a bootiful pwace, izzn't it? Where shud I put
mine soopcases?"

Mosey says 'Yew wook bootiful Mme. Anaïs. Fank yerownself fur koming
..yew kan put yer soopcases in Missy's wunnerful kar, et will be umkay wiff
hur ai m sure.

[As Amelia works to fasten her silver-black cape she listens to the
sounds of the bride-cat's party in the next hut. She hears the bridesmaid
cats meowing and giggling. From the meows that she is hearing it sounds
like the bridecat is missing at the moment. Ah well, those things happen.

Amelia sits quietly to medidate and get her thoughts in order. After a
few minutes of intense purring she leaves her hut and returns to the
beach to make sure that all is in order.

As she inspects everything see catches glimpses of the bridesmaid kitties
as they run errands. All of the bridesmaid cats are in lovely muumuus,
paw-crafted on Qat Island. Rebecca, teh maidcat of honor, is wearing a
black muumuu with a green leaf pattern. Harri Roadcat, Sqweex, Mme Anais
WooToo, Piglett, Petunia, and Beauty are all wearing different muumuus,
all in beautiful bright colors.

The groom's kitties are also dressed and prepared. Ranger tries hard to
keeps his furs in order, OT is always dashing and handsome, Wascal looks
very dignified, Sammy looks like he's trying to relax while still keeping
an eye on Ranger, and Booker looks like he's ready for anything.

Sundance is over at his DJC (disk jockey cat) station, warming up and
test the musical gear.

Kitties from teh Community are standing and sitting around, visiting and
meowing. The Second World kitties are visiting with the local island
kitties. It looks like all we need now is the bridecat and the groomcat..
Amelia summons Ranger to go find them both and ask if they're ready to
begin.]

Like Harri flies. Oh Bast, she isn't going to do something crazy like she
usually does, is she? Oh no, she's diving - I can't look!

Oh, good, she didn't crash. I DO wish she wouldn't fly like that! Whoever
is in that copter with her must be terrified. I guess I'll so see what's
up, and whether anykitty needs anything.

Meowy leaps from Harri Roadcats orange-striped jetcopter and runs into
the brides hut and hastily squiggles into her white moomoo. Rebecca
attaches the veil and train, a long lacy trail of shells, pearls, fish
scales, and tiny bits of flotsam and jetsam.

"Fangyu Harri. Yoo ar mine harrowwin" Meowy waves as Harri Roadcat
departs to land the copter.
