Default We are off!

Tomorrow morning I will put the cats in their Sherpa bag (sounds easy,
doesn't it?) and then we are off to the island. Luckily, there is room for
me in my brother's car, so I won't have to regale a busload of people with
Frank's rendering of the hit song, "Oh, Look What My Cruel Hoomin Did to Me.
She Stuck Me in a Bag with My Stinky Little Sister".

I will spend the weekend on the island, but then I have to come back for a
week at work before my summer holidays start. So next week I will be in town
sans cats, and in really bad need of kitty stories. ;o) Next week I will
probably also go in for a biopsy to check what my thick skin actually
consists of, but I'll let you know if that happens. And of course, Friday is
the day of the big snip, if I go through with it. So I'm looking forward to
next week with mixed feelings.

It's rainy and windy here right now. A few purrs for better weather tomorrow
when we have to take the boat out to the island would be much appreciated.
My brother's a very skilled boatsman, so I'm not that worried, but the
windier it is, the more the boat rocks, and the more the boat rocks, the
worse the cats feel.

Good luck!! (BTW, Pearl knows that song too.) Please keep us posted on both
the biopsy and the big snip. Can't wait to hear.

Purrs for smooth water, a negative biopsy, and for the big snip to go
well.
