HELP: Cat peeing outside of litter box
I have 3 cats and a dog. Two 4 year old female sisters cats and one 3
year old male cat. I also have a 2 1/2 year old Dochound. Over the past week I found that one of the female cats has starting peeing on the mat in front of the litter box. I took her to the vet, suspecting she may have a urinary tract infection, but all the test were negative and she has no other health problems. The vet said it is a behavioral problem. Does anyone have any advice/tips on ho I can go about correcting this problem? Thanks Steve. |

"Steve" wrote in message ... I am a little hesitant to remove the mat, because I think she will pee on the carpet under it. Steve. Hi Steve. I would definitely get rid of the mat . She couldd be attracted back to the smell and also the texture of the mat . You could put something else down to protect the carpet. I use a plastic runner under Kims litter tray. Alison |
