cat prefers laying on newspaper!
I noticed that our only cat which was 'adopted' by us as a kitten(her mother
was killed by a Raccoon) prefers to lay/sleep/eat on paper. He will go into a big room with lots of nice soft carpet or furniture, and if there is a newspaper laying on the rug or on the furniture, will curl up on it. Recently he will not eat out of the bowl we got, but we have to put the food out on a paper besides the bowl. Do any of the rest of you have cats with such idiosyncrasies? |

It's not that they would rather sit in newspaper than anything else. It's just that if there *is* newspaper lying spread out, the cat will almost always sit on the paper. If you are doing your taxes, the cat will come sit on your forms. If you are reading a book, the cat will sit on the book. We believe that they read through their butts. Well, no one here has a paper fetish to that extent, but they all have their little particular, and sometimes bewildering, preferences. Afterall, what's the use of being a cat if you're not confusing the hoomins. -- Steve Touchstone, faithful servant of Sammy, Little Bit and Rocky (RB) [remove Junk for email] Home Page: http://www.sirinet.net/~stouchst/index.html Cat Pix: http://www.sirinet.net/~stouchst/animals.html |
