Thanks Lee, will post an update when I find out. Love, Kyla

Please do. I hope it is something simple to treat. And be careful
about putting an arm over your head.

Will do..I hope it is simple to treat too.
I've never heard of the arm over the head thing.does
this mean I cna't reach UP for things? *or ...???
Mishi said the same thing in another reply, *Wow.

Kyla,

Did you have to put your arms over your head for the CT-scan? I know,
for me, because of some issues I have, that hurts like heck... Not to
mention after a CT, the knowlege that you've just been hit with a 3
year level of radiation makes me hate the suckers.

You mentioned straps...? In ambulances, especially if they have to
start an IV while moving they have to strap you pretty darn tight to
keep you as immobile as possible. Maybe that pulled on your ribs/
muscles?

Hope all goes well with the doc.

I really don't remember..I do know a machine pressed down really hard on my
shoulder, hurting my torn rotater cuff on my right arm.

I know, for me, because of some issues I have, that hurts like heck...

I'll ask them tomorrow if I raised my arm during that...

Not to mention after a CT, the knowlege that you've just been hit with a 3

Oh wonderful..no wonder I glow in the dark, and with that blasted dye
too..ugh.

No IVs were used in the ambulances, just in the ERs.. Both the rides were
pretty rough and I was strapped in tight for the 2 trips and on the tables
during the tests too.

Hope all goes well with the doc.

Thank you so much Joani. I'll post an update Thurs or Friday.

Default UPDATE 3 : Purrs for Kyla please

Well, we went in to the neurologist yesterday, saw the PA, who is a well
informed really nice person and he explained some of the test results to me.
Seems I have some narrowage in my neck veins and ones in my legs too as well
as my arteries, but no clots, thank God.
He is concerned about the xx narcotic pain med I am taking, as it is
supposed to be used for short term use and I've been on it since 07, and he
is referring me to a pain specialist. I'm taking only a half dose of it
now...also, we're weaning me off my seizure meds..am taking only 2 at night
instead of 3 for 2 weeks, then one tab, then none...yaaaaaaaaaay The
swelling in my feet and legs has gone down considerably already.. I was
supposed to go in for and echo cardiogram tomorrow n my heart, but nobody
got back to me on that.
It can wait till next week. I am looking for a new GP as he is just a pill
pusher and an ass, with a self righteous attitude that I can't stand any
more..who we've been seeing for over 20 years. No word on the rib owie yet,
but will get that checked out next week..he thinks it might be a pulled
muscle.. I'm gonna be okay, but it might take awhile, to get these crap
drugs out of my system.
Pookie wanted to be fed and I was napping and the brat jumped right on my
ribs and I yelled at him good. Mrrrrrrrrrt!! as Mosey would say.
Thank you again for caring about me and I just love you.

Kyla

Now that sounds much better. This man seems to know his stuff and apply
common sense.

Purrs and prayers for you to continue to feel even better.

Thank you Joy. *I'm not an uncaring, ill informed idiot.
No way would I put pills in the litter box.
At first, a few years ago, I simply threw the pills in with the used

the trash..etc, (ewwww) *so then I started disolving them in water. (the

I dissolve the unused pills, like the muscle relaxers, to which I am
allergic, (tongue, face, lips swelling, flushing, hives, fainting, etc), in
a small amount of *hot water, along with a little Lysol 4-in-1 cleaner, then
pour it over the used litter (in the 'used' *litter bag), and then dispose

So, the litter is triple bagged, so even a raccoon can't get to it.

Caught this a bit late...We had always been told around here to flush
out-dated med, ones no longer needed...etc.etc. Being the somewhat
OCDsh behavior I have with drugs in a house that babbies/toddlers and
young kids we have devised this system;

We take the tablet forms and run them through an old coffee dispenser
used on for this purpose. I then dump the finely minced drugs and
dump them into old coffee grounds. Then, if I have any I open
capsules and sprinkle their contents into the coffee grounds. Now the
gross part - I keep a jar of rancid, and I do mean rancid crisco. I
take several big spoonfuls and mix the coffee ground mix thoroughly.
I add a final glop of Red Pepper. We have lots of resuable containers
from going out to restuarants and takeing leftovers home. I save
these containers. The yucky rancid glob of drug goop is then put in
the container and snapped shute followed by putting rubberbands on the
oustide. Next the mess is put in the freezer until Trash day. We
take trash out early in the morning the day they are due - NEVER
leave our trash out overnight. Our trashcans are RubberMaid whith
locking handles on either side.

So far my system works for us, we are not violating an laws, are being
kind to the enviromnet, keeping little critters and curious little
kids out of the yucky. Last week we added the dead body of a small
squirrel to the mix.

Well, there ya have it. What on nut did to attempt to keep poisonings
on the downlow.

Wow, that is some system ya got there. It says right on the Rx bottle not
to flush or pour it down the drain, in our area anyway. I like your idea,
wxcept I never buy crisco.
We dont have any kids around here who can get into the trash bags.
And we do recycle )
