Eli buries his gas
I was scooping one of the litter boxes when Eli climbed into the next one
over, dug a hole, turned around, squatted over the hole, farted twice, turned around and covered over the empty hole. Silly cat!!! Or, maybe not silly. Maybe cats see gases as solid.... |

Debra in VA See my quilts at http://community.webshots.com/user/debplayshere oooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Cats CAN and DO make noise when farting. Weeble, when just a couple days old, and it was only the second time he pooped for me. I thought he was done, and I had cleaned his bottom... and then I smelled more poop... I looked at his behind and he farted IN MY FACE. It was a tiny (but ultra-smelly) little "put". Smokey does a "fweeeeeeeeeeeeee" sound sometimes when she's in the litter box. I think of it as an advance warning system, and all cats should come equipped with them, especially Ping, who's poop is so smelly, even he won't stay in the litter box to burry it (he wants to get AWAY from that smell)! |

Some of their expressions of dismay have been priceless.LOL PatM |

Boy, can they make noise. I'm also convince they can fart at will. My
favorite example is Odessa's first visit to our vet. Odessa had had issues, having been returned to the shelter several times, and at this point any trip out of the house seemed to remind her of those trips and she was always quite agitated. After giving her the complete once over, the doctor decided to take a look under her tail, and at the precise moment he lifted it (and bent down forn a closer look) the Odessa-Doll let fly with one of the loudest and most obnoxious catfarts I have ever experienced. It was decidedly audible, though that was not its most distinct feature; the vet backed off several feet, and the tech opened and shut the door several times in succession to try to fan out the bouquet that penetrated and permeated. Odessa, the most delicate of our Ladies, to this day can fart like a truck driver after a couple of plates of stuffed cabbage at a stop along some remote stretch of Thruway imaginatively called "Eats..." Note to myseft: pick up a can of Glade. That's hilarious. Did he write "Here I sit, broken-hearted, tried to sh*t, but only farted" on the inside of the litter box? Joyce |
