Eli buries his gas
I seldom watch TV any more. The news is stories of crime, and
people dying. The gas prices go up because environmentalists are interfering with business. They don't want us drilling, they won't want any new refineries, and then they complain that the gasoline is in short supply. Then, damn fools make up crock of nonsense about about senior citizens eating Alpo (which is more expensive than people food). And then people complain that medicine is so expensive, but they don't want free market competition to keep quality up and take prices down. Would you believe some folks think a nationalized health system would improve things? We can be just like Canada, where they come here for care. Or England, where they wait ages for care. Our health care could be as bad as the DMV and post office. And the news stories are full of scares about climate damage (not hearing from the other scientists who say that the planet is actually stable.) Yep, I can use a good laugh. -- Christopher A. Eli buries his gas (but Baha airs hers on usenet)
I glanced through your post, last night. The raw anger really
reached through the video screen. I printed off your post, and read it in print. I thought about it last night, and went through about five or six different ways of replying. Finally, I decided that I'm far too polite for usenet. In the good tradition of usenet, when flamed and insulted and attacked bitterly and viciously, one needs to reply with equal vitriol and fire. This morning, I want through with a pen, and put points every time I saw something that really begeed for a reply. I came up with twenty three points. I'll number them below. -- Christopher A. Young You can't shout down a troll. You have to starve them. .. "Baha via CatKB.com" u18616@uwe wrote in message news:729cb374f7105@uwe... : Stormin Mormon wrote: : I seldom watch TV any more. When have you taken care of seniors and actually seen it? 1) Don't have to take care of seniors to know that Alp is more expensive than people food. When this pile of lies came out, was about the time Rush Lumbaugh had his TV show. He did a price comparision on the air. Don't dare : to call me a damn fool. 2) Are you the person who came up with that campaign schtick about seniors eating dog food? Must be. Cause that's the damn fool. How'd you get the word out? Are you on a focuss group for the DNC? Did you write the idea to DNC headquarters, or call them on the phone and give them the idea? My most dependable worker was a very fine woman who was severely handicapped. At present, after eight years of Clinton tax increases the economy is so bad that I can't aford my own bills much less hire help. Don't go blaming environmentalists 15) If we didn't have environmentalists protesting drilling and refineries, we'd have enough gasoline at fair prices. and don't : call me a damn fool until you do your research. 16) Hey, anyone who thinks up and markets the "seniors eating dog food" schtick is a damn fool. we can learn from Canada and the UK. Hopefully they do not
have a Rush Limbaugh to export, as we unfortunately do. We have Bernard Manning, who is much the same (fat racist comedian with a following of ageing skinheads) but he would appeal to the average American about as much as, um, Rush Limbaugh does to the average American. They would both mince up to make a lot of dogfood. And furthermore, the lipstick in this case isn't about vanity, it is about
having something with high sun-protection factor which can save the life of a sun-allergic person, whose problem is complicated by medication causing photosensitivity. You ought to know that about me by now. I am on a waiting list to see a dermatologist to have moles removed, and God forbid they be melanomas beause that waiting list can kill me. Take note: we wait here, too. Everyone waits. Despite this, I'd rather be in this land now than a lot of other places.
