Default Usual age for practicing humping?

I would. And hopefully the others are already spayed.

Timmy, just past 13 weeks old, tried to hump one of the foster kittens
today. Holding her by the back of the neck and... well... making all
the right motions (except that he missed the target by least 1/2
foot--which I'm sure Martha appreciated!).

Is that precociousness on his part? Does this mean I need to get him
snipped asap, instead of at 4-5 months?

Or is this simply dominance behavior?

If laughter is the best medicine,
then kittens should be covered by our health insurance. :-)
