Default Bailey's cake

A couple of people emailed and asked me how the cake turned out. It was
good, rich but, I felt a waste of good Bailey's Irish cream. The frosting
was, well, get out of my way and give me a spoon.

Next time I will light cream in the cake to keep it rich and use the Baileys
frosting.

supposed you make the cake and then eat a slice with a cup of the bailey's,
could be a fun time, Lee

That is more what I had in mind. The cake was good but that icing was to
die for, probably eat enough that could happen!

My cake is cooling. I used a milk chocolate mix and used a cup of
Baileys and a couple of shots of espresso for the liquid. We'll see
how that turns out. I think Yowie was right, plain old Irish whiskey
would have done the trick there, but I couldn't find any.

I've made the frosting, and it is to die for! I make a frosted layer
cake maybe once every five years so this is a big deal for me.

Jo
