I've just come home from an appointment with an Ophthalmic Consultant
at the hospital.....I may be developing a Macular Hole in my left eye,
my right eye is pretty useless with only 1/60 vision any way so this
could result in me ending *very* visually compromised. The consultant
said the changes in my macular 'could' get better but he didn't sound
very convincing.....so could my left eye have some get better purrs
please.

Shirley,

My mom had surgery to repair macular degeneration earlier this year. Her
recovery has been fantastic! She can now read without glasses, something
she hasn't been able to do in many, many years.
I highly recommend you talk to an ophtalmic (?) surgeon about your options.

Lots of purrs.

Victor
