Default Homer's Odyssey follow-up

I am posting this as a separate thread because--for some reason--I cannot
find the original on my reader. I did locate it via Google, and it includes
a "ping MaryL" in the title.

I have not read the book yet, but I downloaded it to my Kindle some time
ago. It will now be next on my reading list! Thanks for reminding me of
it. Duffy just past his (approx.) 13th birthday, and it has been 8 years
since I adopted him. He is a truly remarkable cat, and he is the most
loving little guy imaginable.

That was probably my post to you, which I will reproduce below:

I just finished reading "Homer's Odyssey" by Gwen Cooper about a blind
cat and thought of you, MaryL. What a wonderful story!

I hope you and your Duffy are doing well. I think Duffy may be around
Homer's age.

I haven't been around here for a while but I see "Homer's Odyssey" has
been discussed in the NG before. For anyone who hasn't seen Homer,
