Purring
My 15 year old orange tabby, Jeremy, loves to purr. G When he gets a purr
session going on, sometimes he sways back and forth a good 1/2 inch. We call it "rock purring", as it looks like he is rocking in a rocking chair. Does anyone else have a cat that does this? Patti |

Yes, Frank rocks back and forth when he is really getting into his purring sometimes. Nikki just sort of vibrates all over. -- Marina, Frank and Nikki marina (dot) kurten (at) pp (dot) inet (dot) fi Pics at http://uk.pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/frankiennikki/ and http://community.webshots.com/user/frankiennikki |

When we purr, erm, that is, pray (called "davening"), we stand and sway back & forth slightly. This is because our prayers can also be sung and it's necessary to have the proper rhythm. |
