Default Spicey has a breast lump

I happened to find a lump on Spicey's lower chest when she was trying to
get some of my dinner and I was trying to keep my food kitty-free.

It was a soft, fatty lump around the upper nipple area, maybe about two
marbles wide. She doesn't want me to examine it, and I'm not sure whether
it's a danger to her health. I'm going to try to trick her into her carrier
again today to get her to the vet.

I'm not worried. Betty taught me that I should live for today, and not
disrupt a kitty household based on speculation about what may happen
tomorrow.

I hope they can rule out anything bad without running an ultrasound!

Purrs for your peace of mind and for Spicey's health. I suspect it will
turn out to be a cyst. I had my first one removed 63 years ago. Several
times when I had mammograms, they'd see something and want to do an
ultrasound. It always turned out to be a cyst. When one is found I assume
that's what it is.
