Me good boy. Me get hug.

An OOOF! enthusiastic hug! As I was walking through the aisles at the supermarket today, I noticed a wadded up piece of paper on the floor. It caught my eye because it was kind of greenish, but I figured it for a wad of coupons dropped on the floor, and didn't investigate. I got to the cashier, and noticed that the girl in front of me was frantically digging through her wallet. I asked if she had lost some money, and she asked if I had found some. I told her about the wadded up paper at the beginning of the ice cream aisle, and her friend looked, but said there was nothing there. They paid and left. Okay, the more I thought about it, the more I was convinced it was a wad of money, so I went back and looked. There it was, just where I saw it moments before. In my hand, it looked like a one dollar bill. I unwadded it a bit and saw a zero. Oh, a ten dollar bill. When I flattened it out, it turned out to be a one HUNDRED dollar bill. I hurried out to the parking lot, caught the two girls as they were finishing loading their groceries into the trunk. I told her I had found a bill, and asked what value it was. "A hundred," she said. I told her that's what I found, pulled it out of my wallet and gave it to her. That little girl literally threw a hug on me that nearly dropped me to the ground. Her friend came up on the other side and they made a samaritan sandwich out of me. They didn't say if they had made that money assaulting friendly old men in the Albertson's parking lot, and I still have my wallet here... She is about early twenties, so that bill may have been most of her paycheck. That hug was a significant part of mine (big grin). I heartily endorse this samaritanism product and/or service! Hugs and Purrs, Mark -- Proof of Sanity Forged Upon Request You are bad, you are SO BAD! (very big grin) Julie |
