Anyway, I'm fine now, thanks to Simon and he visits me occasionally. Simon is the only person that Boyfie does not flee from. So yesterday, when the doorbell sounded Boyfie did not move from his chair where he was snoozing. Normally if anyone knocks on the door or rings the bell he is off to the back door to escape. I knew it was Simon, but I can't see how he did. We talked for ages with Boyfie asleep but twitching his ears. Just before Simon went home Boyfie got up, went over to Simon and invited an ear scritch which he got. The only person in the world who he ever allowed to touch him except myself. Tweed |

On the few occasions that I was driving a different car (such as borrowing one of my father's cars when my car was in for repairs), she wouldn't be on the couch back, and would act surprised when I came in the door, indicating that she hadn't realized that I was arriving home. -- John F. Even the cats say you smell. eg That is *so* bad and it's lucky Lesley has a sense of humour. She has a manager who does not like her and she needs all the purrs we can send. I've been there and it's horrible. It was only the one person, I've got on fine with 5 managers. They will pick on everything you do if they don't like you. If you go to the toilet it will be "why were you not at your desk when I phoned you?" I have never been so happy living the quiet life at home with Boyfriend & the chickens. OK I have no money coming in but I have some savings that will last us until my real pension kicks in. I know I made the right choice. Tweed |

I am glad you cared and mourned, it is a comfort even now to know that, she
was the first cat i was able to allow into my home after twenty years or so of living catless, Lee "Christina Websell" wrote in message ... We don't know who is reading, do we? The worse bully of a manager I had used to follow me around with a black book in her hand and if she saw anything she could use she'd stand there and write it in the book. Not surprisingly being watched all the time made me make a lot of errors that I would not have otherwise made. If I counted a stack of thin leaflets afterwards she'd count them and if I was 1 out- into the book it went. She wasn't stupid- that book never left her person, which was a real pity as I was entertaining fantasties involving the book and an "accident" with a cigarette lighter,,,,,, Lesley Slave of the Fabulous Furballs |
