I've seen them bound over 6-foot fences like they weren't even there. The best answer is to plant extra rows, just so there's enough for you * and* the deer. (Their favorites seem to be watermelons and yams. They paw the watermelons open, and literally dig up the yams with their hooves). Sherry |
