Sonny fascinated by kitten video

Well, this is a first for Sonny. I was watching this cute kitten video
(without the sound) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EgFbemSFec
when all of a sudden he jumped down from the window, jumped up on my
desk and stuck his nose on the monitor where the kitten was. He
couldn't figure it out, and then checked behind the monitor. He's
always ignored the computer and never jumps on my desk, but not this
time. He knew it was a kitten and watched the whole video.

That vid was posted on CuteOverload, appropriately enough. That kit is
insanely cute. My cats take a dim view of me looking at kittens on the net.
They immediately begin to do all kinds of cutie-pie stuff, as if to say "Oh,
you think THAT's cute?" :P

I half expect him to bring one home himself some day. He brought a live
baby bunny home last year. We never know what's going to come through
the pet door with him.

one of the things I am grateful for is that Chester is an indoor cat,
between what I am afraid he will bring home for snacks, he like other cats
well enough I am sure he would be bringing others home to eat and party, Lee

It's pretty amazing that he responded like that with no sound on! My
cats' ears will sometimes twitch if I have a video on (or the TV) with
kitten mewing sounds, or noisy cats, etc. I've never seen a cat pay the
slightest attention to a purely visual video with no sound.
