Spiceypurrs on their way for Rex. Poms are almost as cute as cats.

Purrs on the way for Rex to get over his ouchies really fast. I hope it's
not serious - please let us know what the vet says.

Hugs,

Default Rex update

Well, the vet took X-rays that showed nothing broken but did observe
that his left foreleg was "sensitive to manipulation". I guess the
right one was OK. Vet prescribed anti-inflammatory for the soreness.

I think it's working. When I got home tonight, he wanted to go out
back. Our house has a "daylight basement" (top floor opens out to the
street side; bottom floor opens out to the back yard) and he usually
wants to go outside with me through the downstairs. Tonight, he went
downstairs with no trouble and spotted our neighbor's Lab in our yard.
Rex chased him around the back yard twice at full speed, took care of
his own "nature call" then came back inside and back up to the main
level as though nothing was wrong.

Funny thing, though. When he got back to the top of the stairs, he sat
down and held up his *right* foreleg. Faker!
