Priorities, priorities
Miss Emily and Butterscotch came in last night because of the low
temperatures and chance of rain. This morning, after a good sleep in, I went to get some donuts (did you know Krispy Kreme does not have cinnamon rolls or apple fritters?!). Miss Emily went outside with me, although reluctantly. At the donut store, it was very windy, and very cold. I was thinking that Miss Emily couldn't like this weather very much. So I got the donuts, went home, and immediately went looking for Miss Emily. She was crouched beneath some bushes at the side of the building, and giving me a "You don't love me - you made me go outside in this weather" look. I called to her, and she came to me. When I picked her up, she cuddled into my coat, and we went back inside, with lion purrs in my ear. Senyah asked me where the donuts were, and I told her I was more worried about Miss Emily. Senyah says, "Of COURSE." I DID go get the donuts out of the car, after making sure Miss Emily was settled back in her Lion Grrrl box. Hugs and Purrs, Mark |
