Oh, it is *so* cute! Please don't turn it out; maybe you could find it a
home. It doesn't look like any Burmese I've ever seen, and the Singapura
have big eyes like that.
But those ears! It's adorable.

Holy cow! Very unusal. Looks like some kind of Somali mix to me, but wow,
how different. Do you think you can give the little kitty a home?
Definitely
an interesting looking cat.

Was just in my warehouse and when I moved a bag of packing material I got
growled at from underneath it by a little kitty. It didn't run and
allowed
me to pick it up. Looking at it I would imagine it's not a general
moggie,
the most striking thing are the huge eyes.

I've uploaded a couple of pics to my webspace, would appreciate it if
someone could ID the breed? My first thought is Burmese...

Its coat is spotless but it is a little on the thin side so am not sure
if
it owns anyone, certainly not seen anything like it in our village
before.

cute whatever mix, my impression is Aby with what you call the shorthair
Persian ones again?
sorry, working too much today and head is void of thought ..

not so easy to "see" the breeds in a mixed cat, many mixed d*gs you
instantly see what they are put together from
skritches for the little lost furry one, hope kitty finds her way back home

I thought Aby from the coat but she does not have the sleek, small, narrow
head--at all. I think Kaeli got it with the Singpurrha [sp] idea.

A kitten growling, oh yeah, I reached to pet a kitten once and he bowed
up on me and started hissing, it was right cute.

The kitten in the pics, looks nice and unique.

I like unique things.

Hedgehog??? No, seriously, it looks a bit like abyssinian, bit like
somali
and bit like rex.

possibly, it could fit the general type for Singapura and the "very large
eyes and very large ears", but it doesn't look like it has the markings
around the nose and eyes - nose- and eyeliner if you will - that it's
supposed to?
I read that "simulations" of singapura with Burmese/Aby have been tried -
but not accepted breed-wise, maybe this is it - after all Neil who met kitty
in furson got impression of a Burmese
Now we just have to hope Neil finds out somehow and let us know - inquiring
minds need to know!

Ticked coats in Burmese are disqualifying faults.

Might be a mix, but it looks an awful lot like a Singapura. Hard to tell
from
those angles, though.

Some other ideas:
Singapura mix - http://www.singapuracatclub.co.uk/
Abyssinian mix - http://www.abychatcats.co.uk/
British Shorthair mix - http://www.micimiao.it/corto/British.htm

My first thought was an Abyssinian mix, but it sure looks a lot like the
Singapura in your first link. Never heard of that breed before.

She looks like a mix. I think Neil needs to be her daddy.

She's a Blue Abyssinian - the owner's the local vicar and he has 2 of them.
His house is just across the field from my warehouse so all explained and
kitty has a good home after all - just not mine.

Glad to hear that, Neil! Good on you for following through and finding
her human.

Her agouti coat is very unusual in color, but I still thought of the
Abby, but those "Betti Davis eyes" really threw me, so was thinking she
was possibly a cross between the Abby and Singapura breeds. Blue
Abyssinia must be very new to the breed. Most unique feline I have
seen in a very long time. The Vicar is truly a fortunate man to be
owned by two of them.
