Fez and Rufous: The Raid
Like their counterparts Bonnie and Clyde, Fez and Rufous like to work as
partners in crime. I was walking to the kitchen just a couple of minutes ago, when I saw Rufous sitting on the entrance to the green bathroom. Just sitting there, kinda looking in, like nothing's going on. He looked suspicious, though, so I went inside the bathroom to investigate. I was not the least surprised when I saw Fez, inside the closet where we store their food, happily munching on Nutro pouches (they are a new kind of wet food, that comes in foil pouches instead of cans). Fez was caught red-pawed and Rufous was the lookout!!! The worse part is that when I got to the kitchen with the leaky pouches, I noticed they still had some wet food left over from breakfast! It's not like they were hungry or anything! These two are beginning to turn into real hoolikittens... Victor M. Martinez http://www.che.utexas.edu/~martiv |

Maybe it's an orange cat thing -- Omar is the cat food thief extraordinaire
and any bagged food has to be really put away well or it's chewed through in no time! Christine (any new photos of Fez & Rufous?) "Victor M. Martinez" wrote in message ... Christine (any new photos of Fez & Rufous?)
Haven't taken any in a while. The last ones are in the Yahoo page. They're getting big, better take some more pictures while they're still cute kittens. -- Victor M. Martinez http://www.che.utexas.edu/~martiv |

It's not like they were hungry or anything! These two are beginning to turn into real hoolikittens... Reminds me of my cat when I lived at home with my parents. Her name was Amber. ("Amber Eyes of Morningside" in full - she was a grey persian - her mother was a pedigree who'd made acquaintance of the local tom g). Mum had a d*g - a lovely beast, part Sheltie, part Terrier, thick as two short planks but very loving. Her name was Mandy. One day we came into the kitchen to find Amber on the kitchen table, passing the sausages (link sausages, still linked) down to Mandy. Cat lit out of there like a bat out of h*ll when she saw the humans, Mandy stood there like an idiot, with a string of sausages hanging out either side of her mouth, tail wagging happily. We think the cat had set her up to take the fall ;-) That cat was always causing trouble - on another occasion she was accused of the "murder" of next door's d*g - a German Shepherd called Rebel. This d*g used to like to jump at the big sturdy fence (8 foot tall and made from railway sleepers) and bark at anyone passing. Amber used to sit on top of the fence and let the dog bark at her, dangling her tail like an angler's bait, then as Rebel jumped up to catch it, swish the tail out of the road and swipe down with her front paw, claws outstretched, leaving vicious claw marks on the d*g's nose. One day while she did this, Rebel had a heart attack - dead d*g, angry neighbour and accusations of the "crime". (personally I suspect the high fat diet of things like soft boiled eggs beaten up with butter for Rebel's breakfast was more responsible g) -- Jette "Work for Peace and remain Fiercely Loving" - Jim Byrnes http://www.jette.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ |
