They are very proud of their butts, aren't they?

We thought once about rigging up a cat-cam to put on them (on a hat or
something,) but realized we'd probably get a lot of close-ups of other
cats' butts.

Frank is a notorious butt-sniffer. Everytime a cat comes back from
outside, he's got to sniff her butt, I guess to make sure it's still
her. It gets on Bootsie's nerves something awful, and always causes a
scrap.

It's rare, but there are times when Kira wants me to sniff her butt.
She intentionally backs up into my face and then looks at me like I am
stupid. I turn her around her and make a point of sniffing her nose.
She looks irritated, but lets it go at that.

I understand kitty protocol, but that is just one that I will not do.
