PALM BEACH -- Firefighters in South Florida found a kitten hiding where it
wasn't supposed to be.

The kitten somehow got stuck in a woman's car engine, so the car owner
called the fire department.

Firefighters managed to get the kitty out of the car, safe and sound.

Officials said one of the firefighters will keep the kitten until it can be
put up for adoption.

How sweet! Their clapping and cheering didn't really do anything to calm
the kitten before it was stuffed into a box... but hey, good news all around
I'm hoping the firefighter who decided to keep the kitten "while waiting
for adoption" will actually keep it
