Default yowling cat stopped yowling

I haven't posted in about 4 weeks, but Casey was having fits of yowling and
after many vet visits including 2nd opinions, the vets told me he had a
stroke or was suffering from feline "Alzeheimers" and would require an MRI
to ascertain that. They also recommended Prozac and other drugs to calm him
down before doing the full MRI workup which costs like $2200-2500.

Well, he got better overnight!? He stopped all that behavior and became my
snuggling, purring little man once again. I never picked up the
prescription. He just stopped the yowling and went back to being himself.
He nuzzles and cuddles and purrs and has been more affectionate than ever.
Just in 1 night. After 3 or 4 weeks of yowling.

Anyways, I couldn't be happier. He is my bud and glad to have him back.

Did you check his paws for thorns? Perhaps something was hurting him.

indoor-only cat. no thorns. He was examined by 2 vets. Hearing was also
checked. Everything was checked.

If he did have a stroke, he got better and I just hope it lasts.

Is it possible he just wanted the attention?

Rita howls at me nonstop when I don't clean the litter box to her
satisfaction.

Rhett howls at me when he sees me get a grocery bag and head toward
his favorite box with the scooper. He's probably saying "'BOUT
TIME!!!"
