We have two cats, when the female got spayed we tried to keep here
seperate from the other cat but it actually made things worse. She got agitated and wanted to get out of the room that we prepared for her. Instead of resting she started scratching and jumping against the door. I am not sure what your cats attitude is towards caging/crating but my cat would go bonkers if I crate her and she would probably hurt herself. Kitty was pretty much back to normal (including jumping) after a couple of days and the incision (1 inch) was healed after about 2 weeks. If you do let her interact with other cats you have to keep her under supervision at all times to make sure no rough playing occurs. However, if it doubt it is probably best to follow your vets instructions. |
