I know I'm new to this board; and I guess I didn't want to seem
invasive, but I keep seeing people posting links to their kitties'
pictures. I don't have any links other than my cat's blog, where
there are quite a few decent ones of him, and I frequently add new.
So just in case there are any interested in seeing him, you can take
a peek there. Please don't think I'm just plugging my cat's
blogspot, but I don't know how to post pictures to the group. His
profile is very much like his attitude; and I try to include pictures
that are relevant to the articles, so if nothing else, it'll give you
an idea of how he ticks (or at least how he seems to tick ::grin:: ).

~~Very attractive Pantherboy,~~

LOL! Funny you should say that. When he starts stalking things (me
included) I'll usually tell him, "Oy, stop the twitchin', panther boy!"
He stalks just like something out of a panther docco!

~~belated welcome.~~

Thanks!

terrible impression of dogs with whomever she met. Her breath was
terrible, she reeked of sebaceous oils, she chewed her haunches
fanatically, and she was a pathological liar. I learnt quite a few
lessons living with her. Firstly, never lay behind a dog who's just
dined heavily from the rubbish bin. Secondly, never leave kibble for
later if there's a dog about. And, most importantly, never, never trust
a cocker spaniel in a balaclava no matter what they tell you." ~~W.C.

They do look similar! That stretch out on the belly thing your lad's
doing is the same thing Flea does when he's trying to pretend he's not
interested in prey. He sits like that and kicks himself along with his
back claws. (I call him Mr. Sticky when he does that because it sounds
like stick pins going in and out of the carpet.) He can't jump worth a
hill'o'beans, though. I had a cat called Poyah once, and he could jump
straight up in the air and his back feet would level out just above my
head. (I'm 5'10") Not Flea, though. Something about those flex legs
he has makes him stingy in the jump department. If I get his bum off
the rug I'm elated. LOL!

How much does your kitty weigh? Flea is always between 12.5 lbs and 14
lbs depending on the time of year. (He turns into cat butter over the
winter time.) And believe it or not, he's not fat at all.
