Default OT - How are you MaryL?

I was thinking about you and hoping you're healing at least a little.

Hi Cheryl,

I'm actually doing very well. My forehead and left eye look like I was
punched in the face, but they are healing--no pain. My right wrist and
fingers are *much* better. I have been taking special care not to stress
them, and I think they are going to heal much faster than I expected. It
was difficult to find a position for sleeping the first few nights, but even
that is now much improved. Thanks for asking! (Ironically, one of the
hardest things is scooping the litter boxes--it is remarkably difficult to
use my left hand to scoop the litter boxes. I will have to ask a friend to
help with the actual cleaning.)

What about you? I have been thinking about your back and legs. It sounded
like you are really going through a difficult time.

Late replying. I'm hit and miss with this and even the cooking group
for most threads. I'm glad you're doing better and I hope Holly is
continuing to be the wonderful nurse.

I'm slowly getting better but still in more pain than I figured I be in
from the discussions with the surgeon prior to surgery. My left foot
and most of the leg doesn't work properly yet but I can still feel parts
of it getting feeling back, though slowly. I've only been back to work
in the office twice since July and my immune system is shot. I'm sick
again this time I think it's the flu.

Anyway, my gang continues to send purrs for your healing! And HUGS!

Thanks for the update. You are working your way through a much more serious
condition than I have. I hate to hear that you are having so much pain, but
I do see some positive news in your words that you "can still feel parts of
it getting feeling back." I hope you will soon have news about more
improvement. Have you seen any other specialists for a second (or third, or
fourth) opinion? I hope your employer understands that all this is beyond
your control.

MaryL
