Father of the Year (not OT)
I was walking around the neighborhood this morning and saw a majestic tabby
tom, with a huge head and one eye, sitting on a porch. He was yowling persistently at the door. Out of the door came a lady bearing plates of gooshyfood. Then, out of nowhere, three kittens came charging right at the food. Oh no, little bitties! I thought. That Mr. Badass Tom Cat might not want you around! Mr. Badass Tom Cat backed away while the bitties tore into the food, and waited while the woman went back into the house and got a plate for him. Then he tucked in. -- Theresa, Stinky and Dante drtmuirATearthlink.net Stinky Pictures: http://community.webshots.com/album/125591586JWEFwh -- Theresa, Stinky and Dante drtmuirATearthlink.net Stinky Pictures: http://community.webshots.com/album/125591586JWEFwh |

Frank used to let Nikki nurse on him when she was a kitten. She wasn't getting any milk out of him, of course, but it comforted her and even Frank seemed to enjoy it after his first WTF? moment. -- Marina, Miranda and Caliban. BTW my entire impression of NYC and surrounding territory is only from watching S&TC for years on tv and Iknow better than to believe all I've seen, much less that those women could afford that lifestyle and those clothes, especially, in RL, as I have been told in RL how expensive the rent is in NYC. However, the brief scenes of what was supposed to be Brooklyn (how would I know if it wasn't Staten Island, LOL) seemed pretty nice to me and I never understood the NYC residents disdain for that city. The only thing I could imagine is that Brooklyn is not within walking distance to all the populace of NYC consider the 'IN' places they frequent. Well, we never minded it-- after all, it kept them away. :P But the nature of life is that more and more of them have been squeezed out of Manhattan-- Manhattan is a very tiny place, after all, and moved guess where-- to Brooklyn, which is now getting trendy. And expensive. Real Estate in NYC passed "insane" several years ago. -- Theresa, Stinky and Dante drtmuirATearthlink.net Stinky Pictures: http://community.webshots.com/album/125591586JWEFwh |

He used to be *the* big ole tom, that has been around for years. Torn up ears and all. He always protected the little ones, even those who were not his. We did finally decide that Funny Face was Marley's dad (same mouth and nose, and same feetsies). He's still here, it's just that we finally caught him, and got him fixed, so he's no longer a "Tom" and he's gettin' pretty chunky now (which is good). Discovered he hated, and avoided the traps, but didn't mind at all being put in a carrier, and didn't cry when the C.L.A.W.S. lady took him away, though he was happy to see me two days later (with the baby food for the newly desexed fur'adults').
