A visitor

A beautiful ginger kitten, about 6 months old, has been hanging around my
garden today. I can't get near him, he runs and hides if I approach him so I
can't tell yet whether he's entire or not. Snoopy hasn't noticed him yet but
Baggy's meowed at him, I'd love him to become part of the family but I think
it's unlikely.

You may think it unlikely but have you checked with the kitten? Look
at my friend, Hugh, 2 weeks ago he'd have said he didn't want another
cat, had no plans to get one and now his owners have increased from 2
to 3 and he's loving it (and her)

Aww, purrs that he will become accustomed to you and calm down so you
can get near.
