Default Greetings!

I'm back, and I'm back semi-lurking, so watch out! I might not say
something to spin people up weg

Natasha is doing well, bless her elderly little heart. She's snoozing
her days away, and giving me holy hell at night when I don't go to bed
when she wants me to (she actually comes out to *find* me and then
yowls at me at the top of her lungs!) I also get grief when she wants
to go outside to munch non-existent grass and I decide it's still
chilly for her to be outside (even if we haven't had typical weather,
winter's still not even half-over yet)

Last night I spent a good portion of the evening hanging on to a stray
dog, waiting for his owners to come pick him up (no place to pen him
into, no good place to tie him up to). He's about 18 months old,
snipped, and a mix of yellow lab and golden retriever. A gorgeous dog,
about 140 pounds, has no idea of his own strength, extremely friendly,
and not a brain in his head. He spent quite a bit of time sitting and
laying - on my feet - when he wasn't leaning - against me. At one
point he even put one of his wet and muddy legs all the way up on my
shoulder.

Natasha might one day forgive me for coming into the house totally
stinking of dog. g

Purrs to all in need, and candles for those who've crossed the Bridge.
