Same here, at least where I am.

But FIRST, you have to WANT to get it done!

Same here but so many people just can't be bothered... Sad.

Most people get their girls done here but not always the boys. Which
results in a lot of boys getting lost and being a nuisance, like the bigbad
cat that kept coming here and fighting with Boyfie.Boyfie was lost too when
he came here unneutered but I got him snipped and now he loves his life. No
more hormones that take him away from his home, like it did before.
I have said it before, Boyfie had a posh collar on but because they hadn't
snipped him or microchipped he wandered away and nearly starved.. Kitty
Farmcat brought him in and if she hadn''t done so he would have died because
he had no idea about catching food for himself.

I am a big fan of microchips..Boyfie has one now but if he'd had one before
he would have been returned to his previous home who I am sure loved him.
anyway as they didn;t bother to neuter him or microchip him he's mine, all
mine!

One reason my friend in Northern Minnesota's North Woods resort area
gets so angry with all the summer people who get kittens and puppies for
their kids to play with during the summer, then abandon them (in the
woods on her farm) when they return to the cities in September. Cats
may have a natural instinct to CHASE things, but without a mama cat to
teach them, they have no idea how to kill and eat their prey. (And what
kind of lesson are those human kids getting about accepting responsibility?)
