Man, it's been a good day for my killfile. Half a dozen infantile trolls
in just a few hours!
Now people, remember the golden rule: DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS. DO NOT
REPLY TO THEIR POSTS, NO MATTER HOW ANNOYING.

Indeed my kill-file has grown too :-)

Cheers, helen s

What is kill-file?

It's a good job there's no limit on the size of a killfile.

I don't get it. Where the heck do these typos all come from? My
killfile's running over.

They came over from rpch+b. If we ignore them they'll go away.

So you admit you're annoyed?

Bwaaaaaaaaaahahahaha

Pathetic attempt to 'imitate' a regular poster... not only did he not
get the name right, didn't even attempt to try the email..... ROFL

Where's Jill?!?!?!?!

JILL! Wee need some RECIPES!!!!

Party "Pizzas"

The original recipe called for bleu cheese but I found it to be a bit
overwhelming. Try it that way if you wish

1 lb. ground beef
1 lb. mild bulk Italian sausage
1 lb. shredded cheddar
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbs. parsley flakes
1-1/2 to 2 loaves 'party' rye bread slices

Brown beef & sausage together; drain well. Add cheese and seasonings
and stir until cheese is melted. Spoon mixture by teaspoons on the
small slices of rye bread on a couple of freezer safe/oven safe
plates or baking sheets. FREEZE. When it's time to serve, pop them
under the broiler for 5-7 minutes.

Jill

Oooooooooh....

Except for that I don't like rye bread, sounds delish.

I wonder if french bread or "texas toast" will do???

I bet Mimi would like it too

Nan, I couldn't answer them even if I wanted to, they're already in my
killfile ;-)

The bread you use needs to be small and thin - Texas toast is far too
thick.
You might be able to find some other thinly sliced "party" bread. Ask at
the bakery in the grocery store.

Jill

In the last few years, they've been making the party bread in french and
sourdough and pumpernickle as well as the rye.

This sounds so good.

We usually buy the party bread around christmas and new years, and this also
sounds like a good way to use what is left from party trays.

I thought so! This isn't something I make all the time, mind you And
I'm not a huge fan of rye bread but you really don't notice the rye in this.

This sounds so good.

It IS!

I took two trays of these to a party at a friends house. His then roommate
was a chef. After the first batch came out from under the broiler and
everyone was exclaiming how good they were he was bugging me for the recipe.
Luis, really, it's nothing special. Give me the recipe! He gave me one of
his chef coats in exchange for it. Okay, that and the fact that someone
barfed on my shirt (and anything else in a 3 foot radius, but it was NOT due
to the food) and I needed something to wear. LOL That was 15 years ago. I
still have that chef's coat

Jill
