Default I feel like a mean Meowmie

Every Sunday/Monday I sort the laundry into baskets according to the
type of clothes they are (towels, jeans, blacks & darks, lights,
brights, whites), and every Sunday/Monday Ernie (18lb love bug)
invariably wants to sleep in the basket with the (dirty) towels in it.
And every Sunday/Monday, I wait to do that load last, but yet I *still*
feel bad when I tell Ernie that he has to leave his ever-so-soft bed! sigh

At least he prefers the dirty laundry! There's nothing Roxy loves better
than my *clean* laundry, fresh from the dryer. My clothes are then covered
with cat hair before they even make it to the closet.

Something you'll never hear an 8-year-old say:

"Nana, will you spit on your hankie and wipe the gravy off my face?"

I hate disturbing Boyfie if he is asleep.

I hear that! Persia loves to roll around in a laundry basket full of
just-out-of-the-dryer warm towels or sheets

Which is *exactly* why laundry is put away (almost) immediately after
removal from the dryer

I don't have a laundry basket. I bring clothes from the dryer in and put
them on the living room couch until I'm ready to sort them. I keep a towel
on the couch to put on top of the clean clothes (having already sorted out
things that might wrinkle). Waffles does love to lie on top, but he seems
happy to leave the towel undisturbed.
