Default watch Facebook censor a link to a cat video

How Facebook censors its users (using sweatshop labour to do it):
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/02/22/low-wage-facebook-contractor-leaks-secret-censorship-list/

What it censors:
http://www.rawstory.com/rs/wp-content/uploads/2012/02/facebookcensorshiprules.jpg

What I find the most sinister bit is that they have allowed the Turkish
state to completely dictate what Facebook users are allowed to post
about Kurdistan; that accounts for a large fraction of the forbidden
categories. This video would be forbidden, for example:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o2ajgoK1-rE

So would this:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgLN9aQnZrE (ok, the poster is doing
a deliberate wind-up, but the comments accurately reflect official
Turkish government thinking, as enforced by tanks, rifle butts and
Facebook management).

This guy is not doing a wind-up. He is gently pointing out that Van
cats have been in their homeland since the time of the Hittites and
do not recognize any nationality, be it Turkish, Armenian or Kurdish:

http://eu.kurdistan-post.eu/medya/30...-abbasolu.html

which is *plenty* enough to get you labelled as a terrorist by the
Turkish government.

Go on, post those links to the Facebook rpca group. See what happens.

Are you saying that Facebook would block them even if posted outside of
Turkey??

I don't have time to test them right now, but maybe later...

The implication of the first story is that FB has a completely centralized
censorship system, with all content being censored the same way regardless
of where it's posted from. The underpaid drones doing the work are just
blindly following the rules they've been given.
