A friend of mine, noticing my pathetic lack of imagination in the area
of *naming pets*, took it on as her personal mission to name my black
kitty. The other day, after numerous suggestions had been dismissed as
too this or not enough that, she finally hit on one: "Licorice". Isn't
that cute? Even though he's really a black and white tux cat, he still
does look like a stick of licorice, especially now that he's a long and
lanky adolescent.

I'm already calling him "Licky Boy" as a nickname. That's not just a
nickname for Licorice - it also refers to the fact that when he's very
cuddly, he likes to lick the tip of my nose.

And he's sound asleep in my arms this very minute.

Joyce (and Licky Boy)

Piccies?! A great name!

together. :-)

Thank you!

Right now I'm staying as far from all of my kitties as possible,
because they all got "Advantaged" today and they smell bad! Roxy tried
to cuddle with me earlier, until I got a whiff of the back of her
neck - ugh!! Sorry, Rox - maybe tomorrow?

Yes, I have "piccies of Licky" (sorry, couldn't resist).

Licorice is the black-and-white kitty (the other kitten is his brother,
Jake, who has been adopted).
