Please could I ask for some Purrs for my darling
Grand-daughter, she has always suffered with
excema, dont know if thats spelt right, usually at the back
of her knees and Inside her elbows, but since she started
School, Itsgot steadily worse, she's at the dr's but lately
it's got worse again her beautiful little face, arms legs,
so they took her again this morning, on her 6th birthday
and they sent her straight to a specialist, no waiting for an
appointment and said she might have to go into hospital.
It really is bad, she came back{ Iwas looking after her
brother who's two] with big bandages on both arms and
legs but they couldn't put one on her face, special new anti
biotics that cost a few hundred dollars if you have to have
a bottle, but the specialist looks after my leg from when I
had a cellulitus infection, and she gave my daughte three
sample ones, she has to take a half every day, they took
swabs, and she has to go back on Friday, If she's no better
she may be spending xmas in Hospital. I do hope not!

When my son was a child he always developed eczema when

school started -- same areas. I went through the doctor bit with no
success for a couple of years. Then a dermatologist started his
"psychoanalyzing bit"/ This annoyed me no end. I sat down to really
think the thing through -- it always came on after school started --
he always had new clothes for start of school -- could it be the
clothes? -- could it be the dye in the clothes? -- by Spring (and
after many washings) the rash was gone. I then decided to have him
wear white tee shirts and very wellwashed jeans -- it finally
disappeared and he was not bothered again.

Then again, I had a girlfriend whose baby was allergic to milk.

I wish you lots of good luck -- allergies can require lots of
detective work. MLB

Many purrs for your granddaughter -- how miserable for her and her family!
Sounds like they're smart to try out the antibiotics as it could be impetigo
rather than excema. Hope she feels better soon -- please let us know.
Christine
