Another Purr Request

I've just heard of a problem with a fuzzball, and purrs would be appreciated. My friend's mum's cat, a 14-year-old ginger tom, has been savaged by a pair of working dogs - owned by a near neighbour of theirs. The dogs escaped from a car, and attacked the cat, who'd been meatloafing in the sunshine. He's lost an eye, and apparently muscle control on one side of his face. The vet says he must have put up a good fight, because he's also missing four claws - presumably, embedded firmly into the dogs somewhere! Economics aren't a problem. The cost, up front, was 300 pounds. The vet estimates a total cost of around one thousand pounds. The dog owner's insurers have already agreed to pay all costs. Ginger is up and about, and purring - but here's hoping for a long-term recovery... Lots of purrs on the way.- -- Adrian (Owned by Snoopy, Bagheera & Shadow) Cats leave pawprints on your heart http://community.webshots.com/user/clowderuk |

I'm glad that the dog's owner is footing the bill. But losing an eye, and partial paralysis? That poor kitty will never be the same again, I'm afraid. Litter box contents to the people who didn't control their dogs. Purrs on the way for a complete recover for this unfortunate Kitty. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ ^..^ "Life without cats would be only marginally worth living." -TC, and the unmercifully, relentlessly, sweet calico kitty, Kenzie.
