OMG. I just got a note from my daughter telling me that her nurse
manager is coming to look at the orphan
bitties this morning.

This is *better* than any potential adoptor I ever dreamed of. She
would be as good a slave as any of *us*!
I don't think there's a kinder, or more compassionate woman on this
planet, from all that I have heard
of her, and the times that I met her.

Keep your fingers crossed. I told my daughter to lecture them about
how to act. :-) As you know, they
are over three months old now and their chances are getting slimmer as
they grow up. And the chances
of them going to a home together even slimmer.

Purrs, prayers and everything crossed here for her to fall in love
with them at once! Then again they are so very lovely that as long as
they behave themselves they should do well

Lots of purrs on the way, I'm sure she'll fall in love as soon as she sees
them.

Well, she only took Sissy. Coincidentally, another nurse decided to
take Bubby. She won't pick him up until Thursday.

I'm really glad they both got really good homes, and even homes with
other nurses she works with every day, so we
won't lose track of them.

I just really wish they could have gone together. She said when the
first lady was standing there with Sissy in the carrier about to
leave, Bubby jumped up on it and hung off of the door. :-(

I guess the consolation is they we were really lucky to get good
people to take them, even if it was separately.

I"m not raising any more orphan kittens. :-(
