[OT] Venting

The depravity of the following is *SO* disgusting. In the news here
today....

Two men accosted a family (mother, father, four children) at a car wash and
brandished guns, demanding all their cash. The family didn't have any cash
so the men proceeded to throw the children out of the car and stole it. In
their rush to leave the scene of the crime they ran over and killed the two
year old!

God, that's sick. As if it isn't bad enough to try to rob them and
steal their car. I hope those *******s go to jail for life for murder.

But then again, that's the way our world is going these days - in
Indianapolis (about 15 minutes from where Jeff's neice and her family live,
just about a mile) three children (ages 5 - 11), their parents and two other
non-resident adult relatives were *murdered* (that *7* people, total), all
because some juvie neighbor had a beef with them and started spreading a
rumor that there was a lot of money and drugs in their house - so two thugs
(now in custody, thank Deity) broke in to rob them, *supposedly* one of the
non-resident adult relatives drew a gun on them, so he killed *all* of
them - the children were executed on a bed!!!!

And there was no money, nor drugs.....

Here in Texas it's a capital crime when you kill someone in the commission
of another crime (even if they "accidentally" ran of the child, without
intent, they will still get the death penalty).

And fortunately (in this case).... Texas means business WRT the death
penalty. They don't lollygag around about it. You kill someone in
Texas, you die.
