I am well behind in reading and posting... sigh...

So purrs aplenty to those who are in need.

Now the timetrialling season is well and truly here, much time is spent
getting 'Mummy's Little Dave Zabriskie' transported to and from various
cycling events, weekend and mid-week.

Most importantly, the felines are well. Waffles still rules the roost, all
six-pounds of her. Poor Kit-Kat, the cat next door, who is a *sweetie* lives
in fear of an elderly ladycat with one eye and missing fangs. She reminds
poor Kit-Kat that she still has all her exceptionally sharp claws ;-)

Francis is thriving :-) He too sorts out poor Kit-Kat periodically, and,
should he see Kit-Kat and I communing in the garden of a morning, Francis
can pull the biggest sulk in the universe. I get the Feline Look Of Death
and am then totally, utterly and completely ignored. I have found, however,
that the rattle of the catfood dish soon makes a Terminal Sulk disappear.

Marble. Poor Marble - he and Kit-Kat are friends, so you can imagine how he
feels about Waffles & Francis chasing off Kit-Kat. Marble is alos mellowing
in his old-age. He is 'Mummy's FatCat' who now cuddles up for a tummy-tickle
and a purr session. He's obviously lulling me into a seriously false sense
of security, so I wander the house wondering what I'm about to stand in...
most disconcerting.

Nathan is fine - he continues to improve at his cycling. Yesterday he did
his first sub-24minute 10-mile time trial, in pouring rain, cold and gusting
headwind for half of the course.

Vernon is fine too. Busy working each day, trying to make an honest crust
:-) He and I spent Sunday in the garden, I mowed the lawn, he trimmed the
hedges. We need to hire a shredder this week to cut down all the hedge
trimmings into manageable stuff.

Cheers, helen s

Francis is thriving :-)

Big BIG Cheers for Francis!!!

Marble is such a striking cat, but he bears watching.

Cheers and warming purrs for Nathan.

He's a neutered tabby male, small, not much bigger than Waffles, and he has
very, very soft, sleek fur with lovely black & brown tabby marbling. Very
like Marble, but smaller & with softer fur.

Francis is thriving :-)

Big BIG Cheers for Francis!!!

Aye, he's a miracle cat :-)

He's Mummy's Fat Cat and my PsychoCatFromHell ;-)

Congrats to Nathan! I'm so happy to hear Francis is doing so well!
Purrs and best wishes for the rest of the family,
Polonca and Soncek
