With the guys I drive for now I can bring along a pet period. With
these new guys if I drive their truck I can't bring a pet. If I lease
a truck (basically run as an O/O) I can. But with fuel prices going
as they are I'm not quite ready to be buying my own fuel

Oh, okay, that's clearer. Have you tried talking to someone in the new
company; someone higher-up who might love his pets and understand and waive
the policy?

Boy that is a tough one. Course you would miss Harri, and we'd all
miss her stories. OTOH, the change does sound like a better deal until
you find a computer job, and it would be great if you could spend more
time at home with the rest of the family.
