My bright and cheerful, confident, super athletic precision jumper,
head-bopping brush loving pocket rocket of a mini cat has gone.

We saw her minutes after she was born, she spent her first week in our
backyard. *Her mom found a safer place after that and moved her, so it
was several weeks until I saw her again and by then her large eyes and
lovely delicate little face were a force I could not resist. *She came
In pretty soon after her mom started bringing her by for solid food.

As she passed her eighteenth birthday last month, it was pretty clear
she was in decline, and last week it finally was affecting her ability
to jump and move around. *She had a vet appointment Saturday morning,
but she'd left before I woke and found her that morning.

She's the Mietze,
She's the Mietze,
That I love...
She's the Mietze, the Mietze who.

Like our Maggy May, also a cat of advanced years, she went when it was
her time and without a fuss. Now you have a hole in your heart, a
beautiful hole left by a wonderful cat.

Purrs to heal your heart and to guide your Mietze to the Bridge. Where
she will wait for you.

Waiting is.

So sorry to hear about Mietze, she sounds like such a fun kittie to have
had around for all those years. *She will be missed, but welcomed at the
bridge.
Antee Sylvia

Thanks, Pit . nya, those nice rumbly purrrrs should travel nicely all
the way to the Bridge.

She was with me when I first came to r.p.c (she was two then, my
youngest at the time), so it feels like forever.

We are all so sorry to hear of *Mietze's going to the Bridge, Melissa.
You took such good care of her and loved her for 18 years and she loved you
back.
Mosey just put up a Candle for her.
Purrs and prayers lovingly sent for your broken heart

Thank you Kyla and everyone...that was a very sweet thing to do.

I'm so very sorry for your loss.

It is a terrible fact that we are destined to outlive our feline family

And, no matter how long they live, it's never, ever, nearly long enough.

I hope that her passage to the Bridge was easy for her: in her sleep, so
she simply went to sleep, and woke up at the Bridge.

I know that you have a huge, Mietze shaped hole in your heart, now

Purrs are on the way, to help with your grief.

Very true, Gandalf. Thank you for the purrs.
