Cute! He does look very confident. Has Caliban gotten used to his
"most adored" status yet? How about Mir - is she adjusting?

No, Caliban is still very confused about this strange cat that is so
besotted with him. He doesn't know whether to lick him or bap him, so he
does both. To Viktor, any attention from Caliban is good attention.

Mir still hisses and growls, but the other day we all took a nap
together. It started out by Mir crawling under the blankie with me. Then
Caliban came and lay down by my feet. Then Viktor came and lay down by
Caliban. We all napped a while, then Mir came out from under the blankie
and realised that she'd been sleeping in the same bed as Viktor. But
this time she didn't hiss or growl, she just jumped down and flopped
over on the floor. Then she walked away. I think she's slowly coming around.

But she has hissed and growled at him after that.

It took a few months for Dot to accept Buster. I think Mir will end up
liking Viktor, since he's such a harmless little guy.

Uh oh, that means he'll be obnoxious just to get Caliban's attention.
(I think Licky is kind of like that - like an obnoxious child who just
wants to play, but doesn't have any social skills.)

In my experience, sleep time seems to be the one time when contentious
kitties call a truce of sorts, and are willing to share the space. It's
kind of amazing.
