Default Don't Let Her Know I Like the New Mousie

I bought a new catnip filled mousie for Persia a couple of weeks ago. She
studiously ignored it. Then in the last couple of days, I've been finding
it in different spots in the living room. Oh yes, she's playing with it.
She just doesn't want me to know she's playing with it Goofy girl.

I really like this story. I believe that she does it secretly too.
It illustrates perfectly the difference between cats and dogs to me.
I remember being quite crestfallen when I got the cardbox boxes and toys
that I was assured on this group that my cats would enjoy. Did they? No!
or maybe in the night..

Dogs would have least have made an effort at a token play.
And that's why it's so difficult to become a cat owner when you've always
been a dog owner.

Yeah, Rita does that too. She mostly ignores her toys when I'm in the room, but they *travel* quite a bit. Sometimes I wake up in the morning and my bed is littered with her toys!
